Crank Handle The parasol features a crank mechanism to effortlessly raise and lower the canopy. Simply wind the handle one way to open the canopy or turn it the other way to close it. Air Vent An air vent helps to reduce wind pressure to prevent it pulling the parasol upwards. It also allows heat to circulate, so the canopy is cooler to sit beneath. Steel Construction The pole, ribs and crank are made from steel which is stronger and heavier than aluminium to keep the parasol weighted and provide superior wind-resistance.
