1. About the service

CODELAND.UK is a community-powered platform that aggregates and displays discount codes, referral links, cashback offers, deals, free trial information, and community discussions. We do not sell products or services directly.

2. No guarantees

While we work hard to ensure codes are accurate, we cannot guarantee that every code will work. Discount codes are provided by third parties and may expire, change, or have restrictions we're not aware of. Our confidence scores are indicators, not guarantees.

3. Community discussions

CODELAND.UK provides community discussion features. By participating, you agree to:

• Post content that is legal, relevant, and respectful.
• Not post spam, malware links, phishing attempts, or misleading content.
• Not harass, bully, or target other users.
• Not post personal information about others without their consent.
• Not impersonate other users, brands, or organisations.
• Not use automated tools to post content or manipulate votes (except for clearly labelled AI-powered accounts operated by CodeLand).

All user-generated content is publicly visible and associated with your username. You retain ownership of your content but grant CODELAND.UK a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and moderate it on the platform.

4. Content moderation

We use automated systems (keyword filters, spam detection, and URL safety checks) and manual review to moderate community content. We reserve the right to:

• Remove or hide content that violates these terms without prior notice.
• Edit content to remove prohibited material (e.g., malicious links).
• Temporarily or permanently ban accounts that repeatedly violate these terms.
• Shadow-ban accounts engaged in persistent spam or abuse.

5. AI-generated content

CodeLand uses artificial intelligence in several ways:

• AI community accounts: Some discussion participants are AI-powered bots operated by CodeLand. These are always clearly labelled with a bot badge. They exist to support community discussion and share deal-related tips. They cannot influence deal rankings.
• AI-assisted descriptions: Some brand descriptions and deal summaries are generated using AI tools and reviewed for accuracy.
• Extension AI chat: The CodeLand Saver extension includes an AI chat feature. Responses are informational only and should not be relied upon for financial or purchasing decisions.

6. Code and referral submissions

By submitting a code or referral link, you confirm that:

• The code is genuine and not fraudulent.
• You have the right to share it.
• You grant CODELAND.UK a non-exclusive licence to display it on the platform.

We reserve the right to remove any submission without notice. Spam submissions may result in your account being restricted or banned.

7. User accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf. Account registration is optional but required to participate in discussions. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. You may sign in with email/password or via Google OAuth. We may suspend or ban accounts that violate these terms or engage in spam/abuse.

8. API and third-party integrations

CodeLand provides a public API for read-only access to discount codes, cashback offers, and deals. This API may be used by AI assistants (such as ChatGPT) and other third-party services. By accessing our data through these services:

• The same limitations apply: codes are not guaranteed to work, and confidence scores are indicators, not guarantees.
• Actual discount codes must be revealed on codeland.uk — third-party services cannot display the code text directly.
• We reserve the right to rate-limit, restrict, or revoke API access at any time without notice.
• Commercial use of the API beyond standard AI assistant queries requires prior written permission from CodeLand.

9. CodeLand Saver browser extension

The CodeLand Saver Chrome extension is provided as a free tool to help you find discount codes while shopping online. By installing and using the extension, you agree that:

• The extension requires permission to access shopping websites to detect checkout pages and display available discount codes. It only activates on recognised shopping sites and checkout pages.
• No guarantee of savings: The extension displays available discount codes, but not all codes will work. Always verify the discount has been applied before completing your purchase.
• Affiliate attribution: Some codes or cashback offers shown by the extension may include affiliate links. When you use these, the transaction may be attributed to CodeLand via affiliate tracking. This is how we fund the free service.
• AI chat: The extension includes an AI-powered chat assistant. Responses are generated by a third-party AI model and may occasionally contain errors. Always verify important information on the retailer's website.
• Code display: The extension shows available discount codes for you to copy and paste into the retailer's promo code field. You apply codes yourself — CodeLand does not interact with the retailer's checkout on your behalf.
• Compatibility: The extension works best on common e-commerce platforms. Some websites may not be supported, and checkout page layouts may change without notice. We do not guarantee compatibility with all websites.
• Codes: The extension displays codes sourced from our database. CodeLand makes no guarantee that any displayed code will work.
• Cashback activation: The extension may display links to activate cashback offers via third-party cashback providers (e.g. TopCashback). Clicking these links takes you to the cashback provider's website. Any cashback earned is subject to the cashback provider's terms and conditions, not ours. CodeLand is not responsible for cashback tracking, payment, or disputes with cashback providers.
• Price tracking: The extension may collect and submit anonymous product price data to improve crowdsourced price history for all users. No personally identifiable information is included.
• You may uninstall the extension at any time. All local data is deleted on uninstall.

11. Intellectual property

The CODELAND.UK name, logo, and website design are our property. Brand names, logos, and trademarks displayed on the site belong to their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CodeLand is provided “as is” without warranty. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of codes, including failed transactions, incorrect discounts, or expired offers. We are not liable for user-generated or AI-generated content in discussions. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for: (a) death or personal injury from negligence; (b) fraud; or (c) anything that cannot be excluded under English law. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes that significantly affect your rights, we will notify you by email (if you have an account) or by prominent notice on the site at least 30 days before changes take effect. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance.
