General description The ForgeFast Hexagonal/Torx® Compatible Timber Screws are designed for effective fixing into both soft and hardwood. These screws feature a combination hexagonal head with a deep Torx® compatible insert, which minimizes cam-out and allows for higher torque levels and a firmer drive. Their super sharp tip ensures immediate bite from the very first turn, while a patented self-drilling thread eliminates the need for pre-drilling, reducing the risk of timber splitting, even when screwing close to the edge. The screws are protected by an elementech 2000 surface treatment, providing corrosion resistance significantly longer than standard zinc-coated screws.
