Liquitex : Professional : Flow Aid : 118ml

Liquitex Professional Flow Aid Additive is a concentrate that you dilute with water before mixing into paint (distilled water gives the best results). When using in conjunction with acrylic colour it increases flow, transparency, blending and absorption. To use add 1 part Flow Aid to 20 parts water, going up to 1 part Flow Aid to 10 parts water for a more concentrated effect. You can then mix this into your paint. Stir slowly to avoid foaming (if this occurs wait for the bubbles to dissipate). On absorbent surfaces your colour/medium will sink in and stain like a dye, and if the surface is non-absorbent your colour will be more fluid and take longer to dry. Do not use undiluted, this will result in poor acrylic adhesion, cracking, tackiness and water sensitivity.
